I had planned on posting something completely different, but then I saw this video and changed my mind.
This is Mos Def, one of the most respected hip hop artists currently alive being arrested outside the MTV VMA's in 2006 when he put on an impromptu performance of his song Katrina Klap. For those who may not know, this song is a rather scathing criticism of our s**thole of a government's response to Hurricane Katrina (or lack of).
The sound quality isn't very good, but I'll include the music video for the song itself so you can clearly understand the words and maybe guess why he was arrested.
It's sad when people get arrested in America for speaking there minds... apparently we lost that Right when Bush took over huh?
